A child was rushed to a local hospital in life-threatening condition after being shot on the city's Westside on Saturday evening, Jacksonville police said.Just after 7 p.m., police reported that the child had been shot in the 7900 block of 103rd St., home to restaurants including Waffle House, IHOP and El Tapito as well as other retail outlets.
